The late game on Saturday (8:45 PM, our second of the day) was against the Kensington Valley Ravens, rated 88.37 on MHR and one of the stronger teams in T2. KV took it 4-1. They are currently 6-3-1 in the MGHL 14U T2 standings, so this one was a good measuring stick. We got one past them after already winning at 2:15 PM, and that is a lot of hockey in a day.
Kensington Valley Ravens MHR rating. Ours: 84.50. Tougher than us.
Tournament games are not on the MGHL score sheets, so there is no period or scoring breakdown. Final: 1–4.
This was part of the season-opening tournament weekend (Oct 2-4) at Big Bear Arena in Sault Ste. Marie. Team manager Heather Corcoran made all the travel arrangements for the team. Thank you, Heather!
