Maddie G. (#44) scored first, Julia C. (#21) added another, and Kaylee M. (#16) made it 3-1 just over a minute into the second period. Then Little Caesars (rated 84.58 on MHR) got hot with three goals in 3:36 and took the lead for good, adding two more in the third for a 6-3 final. We took only one penalty in the game, and LC took none. The offense was real: three goals from three different scorers. The lesson is the same one the next two games would test: when we get ahead, we keep our foot down.
Little Caesars Farmington Hills MHR rating. Ours: 84.50. Right in our range.
LC #18 had a pair of goals; they took zero penalties.
